Take a bite out of a book this summer for your chance to win prizes!
- Read books, magazines, comics, audio books, whatever.
- Pick up a bookmark form at any Library, Arts & Culture location and return it by July 20.
- Each unique bookmark is an additional entry into the raffle for prizes. The more you read, the more chances you have to win! This year's grand prize is a Kindle Fire donated by the Friends of the Glendale Public Library.
- Winners will be drawn at the Summer Reading Raffle Party at the Central Library on August 2 at 2 pm. You don't have to be present to win, but it's more fun if you are! Prizes sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower from Summit Entertainment. Based on the teen book by Stephen Chbosky, about Charlie and what it's like to grow up during your freshman year of high school. Must be 13+ to watch!

NEED VOLUNTEER HOURS THIS SUMMER?
If you are a teen who needs to earn volunteer hours for school this summer, you can earn 8 hours by helping the Friends of the Library set up for their monthly book sales. Volunteer opportunities are available on May 8, June 5, July 10, and August 7.
You must sign up beforehand! Email Melissa Stallings to sign up.
